Jazz Festival Madajazzcar 2009 - Môta singing "Bobby" for Nesta

This song is pretty much one of my favorite Môta song ... because it is dedicated to Robert Nesta Marley, alias Bob Marley ... and it's a Jazz song from Madagascar :)

Martin Luther king Jr (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968)

An Evening with one of the most inspiring young photographer from Africa.

Yesterday, I spent  the evening with one of the finest and most promising young photographer from Africa.

Boniface Mwangi is an award winning photojournalist based in Kenya. His work has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Sunday Times, International Herald Tribune and BBC Focus in Africa Magazine among other International publications. He is the first Kenyan to be named the CNN Africa Photojournalist of the Year 2008.
In his words:

"I see myself as a visual artiste using photography as the vehicle for social change in my country, which has experienced a lot of impunity, the latest manifestation being 2007 December's political convulsions that left over 1000 dead and half a million displaced."

Boniface was the eye of Kenyans during the post-election violence and showed courage and compassion to capture the images across the country that made newspaper headlines all over the world.

"Boniface images are crucial for the healing of our nation, his ability to stay focus and inject a sense of artistry into his work is a testimony to the spirit of professional journalism" wrote Jackson Biko after Boniface was voted Kenya Photojournalist of the year by the Adam magazine readers. He holds very strong opinions on leadership and governance issues.

He has worked on assignments in Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, China, Somalia, Tanzania, Ghana, South Africa, and France and covered the election of President Barack Obama in the USA. His work has been exhibited in French Cultural Centre Nairobi, Goethe Institue, the national Museums of Kenya, The Godown Art Centre and New York at the Tank Art Studio.

When the Yogurt King fall, it is an opportunity...

Professor E. is a Malagasy Savant, International Researcher & Engineer - Working discretly on food industry by using his deep knowledge on  Digital Organic Agriculture.

This morning my cell phone didn't stop ringing from 6 am, he said. People are asking me how to make yogurt, cheese, and all different sort of dairy product. During the crisis, and after the looting of Magro (TIKO Wholesaler), people are making and selling their home made yogurt for their small business, you can find hundred sort of home made yogurt all over Madagascar's groceries ... they are all tasty and everyody is happy. Competition is good.

Prof E. hate to depend on anyone in business, he is a solitary researcher working at his own underground lab. He decided to be a master in all fields needed for agri-business industry including :  Electronics - Industrial Automation - Biology - Genetics - Soil science - Ecology - Agrobiology ... His knowledge have never been considered till now but his head is full and he don't care much. We have discovered him hasardly during Madagascar crisis and he is now a friend and teacher.

Prof E don't like politics, but decide to be part of the solution by sharing and teaching his knowledge to this new generation for the quick development of the country from now.

He will start by sharing his magic fertilizer formula who will make Madagascar feed it self very quickly -  and advise farmers and businessmen with the same vision.

... people are hurry and have been waitting for so long ... Let's work together and make Madagascar great.

Planting hope for our world :

When you see yourself as one living thing in a community of life, and when your passion for your own life is the same as your passion for the life of all things, then you have compassion.
